Looking for a house to RENT from 17th of JUNE

Hi everyone,

 

We are going to be in Adelaide on the 17th of JUNE we are looking for a near new or new 3 Bedroom house in these areas or surroundings,

Glenelg, Marion, Brighton. $350 to $450 per week is what we can afford.

 

We have applied through real estate agents and are still waiting to hear back they seem to not be very interested or helpful even thou we have all the correct paper work and funds.

Hi Sam,

It is difficult to secure long term rentals from overseas. There is a shortage of good rental properties, so agents are more likely to take those who are here and have actually seen the property than anyone else. Also, it is rare to find furnished rental in Adelaide, most properties are unfurnished.

You may be better off taking a short term furnished rental for a couple of weeks so that you can then view properties in your desired locations. There have been some good recent recommendations for finding short term rentals on this forum, airbnb.com.au was one.

I am just about to move out of a lovely 3 bedroomed courtyard house in Glenelg North. It will be available from the 5th July & its just about to be advertised on Gumtree Adelaide its walking distance, to the marina, The tram (for the city) & Jetty Road, great location! The owners for looking for $420 per week & maybe flexible regarding the term of the lease.
