We'll be saying goodbye to our first wonderful home in Adelaide at the beginning of September to move nearer the beach. Bit sad but also excited...

15-20 mins drive to beach one way and to the hills the other. 10 min tram ride into city (5 min drive/10 min cycle/35 min walk). Great area for cafes, restaurants, Adelaide Farmers Market. Has been especially good for my wife and our toddler - lots to do in terms of play groups, kinder gym, swimming classes, lots of play parks. Outdoor swimming pool 10 mins walk.

 

In catchment zone for 'best' public high school in the state (Glenunga International), and excellent primary (Goodwood), plus your usual smattering of private schools nearby. On street with excellent private Catholic primary school (according to parents).
