furniture rentals?

Hi

 

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any furniture rental companies? Would rather go with someone who's been recommended than simply relying on google?

 

We'll be needing to rent basics like beds/sofa/kitchen stuff till our stuff comes over. Hoping to be there in October! Exciting!

We looked into it very briefly, but from what I remember there was a minimum rental time and it worked out no cheaper than just buying cheap stuff. That was nearly six years ago though.

There are rental companies like Radio Rentals and Rentlo but they aren't cheap.

Another option would be to buy some second hand stuff from the many garage sales that people have every week and then have your own sale when your stuff arrives. Basics like air beds, a kettle, toaster atc are really cheap at K Mart and Big W.

It depends how long your possesions will take...many people "camp" for a little while between their arrival accommodation and the arrival of their container for their long term rental.

We sorted it from the UK, they were really helpful. You can hire as much or as little as you want. The survival kit was especially useful!
