Yes, we are going out on 9th October. Getting excited now, shippers in 28th August. What to pack, what to take - there are no answers, only more questions!!!! Where are you hoping to end up?

Well we are staying in Glenelg for about a month but will be looking to buy a house as soon as we get there. What about you ?

Hi Sush,

 

A few people know we're going, but still keeping it fairly low key. Have you found somewhere to stay in Glenelg? we are looking for a longish term rental in that area also, no success yet. A couple of people have offered us short term lets (from this site actually) which is great, considering them at the moment

Yes we have, its only a short term rental, serviced apartment, month to month basis, As we want to buy a house as soon as we get there, which suits us, but the rental can be extended if need so, What we did not want to do is get into a rental contract which would of been fixed term. This way we can leave when we want.

Just so excited ......... Myself and my partner leave the UK on the 3rd October !! and on our way to Adelaide :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

well we still dont have our visas but are praying they come in anytime soon - we have sold our house so as soon as they do arrive we can book our flights. our aim has always been end sep/beg oct so who knows you may find a post in the future saying that we have managed it and are arriving the same time as yourselves.
