I wasn't sure where to post this but having dealt with them recently thought it might be good to put the post here. We're currently on their waiting for an ex-racing greyhound that is cat friendly.
Anyone who is thinking of buying a dog please consider adopting an ex-racing greyhound. There are over 20,000 greyhounds bred in Australia each year. The following event may be a place to start if you think you might be interested in adopting one of these wonderful dogs:
Only half the number bred actually make it to the track.
Most racing greyhounds are destroyed by the age of 3-4 years when their racing careers are finished or after suffering an injury that prevents them from continuing to race.
They make wonderful pets - check out: Greyhound Adoption Program - SA for more info.
