      Solar power

Has anyone thought of getting solar power?

If you are thinking about it, try a friend of mine and please dont think

i met him a couple of months ago and we call each other mates/friend.

I use to play soccer with him from the age of 6 and he lived with us in

the uk for 18 months, so we really are friends. Anyway, we got a quote

from a company for $15,900 for a 3 kw system which i thought was

pretty good. So i called shane, who is sean disbury's right hand man at

gotta getta. For the same system fitted, he can do it for......................

Ha ha sorry cant tell you mates rates and such, but he did say he would

do it for anyone else for $12,000!!!!!!

      So we have signed up!!!

Anyway if you are thinking about it just pm me and i will give you his

      mobile number.

      Thanks

Somehow, I am thinking to use solar power as my energy source in our house. Solar power is a renewable resource. This means that we are not in danger of depleting its reserves and it’s non-polluting. Unlike oil, solar power usage does not emit any greenhouse gases, nor does the gaining of it harm ecosystems through spills. And the energy is absolutely “free”.

I've just had a quote from these guys for a 3kw system with 8 panels (expandable to 16) for $3500 fully installed.

      I don't think 8 panels gives you 3kw, you need the 16.

It comes with a 10 year warranty. Apparently with 8 panels we'll get about $180 back a quarter. With the full 16 we'll get about $270.

The 16 panel option was about $8500 as the rebate only applies to the first 8 panels or something.

Hi Woody, How much is it in total before the rebate to leave you with $3500 ??

Sorry I don't know the guy only gave me the final amount I'd have to pay.
