Unfortunately this is not the uk where you can go down to the plumbing shop and pick up a system for 1500 pounds everything that we get is imported to the eastern states and then freighted over to south australia. It depends on the heat source but natural gas is the cheapest to buy and run and we can get condensing boilers and combination boilers (bosch of worchester bosch in the uk have arrived this month) Each system is different but if you allow between $1000 and $1500 per radiator with thermostatic radiator valves plus a boiler between $2500 and $5000 then you will be near. That is supply and install but again it is dependent upon the job and the specifics of the job. Are you happy to have the pipes on the surface or do you want to be australian and bury everything?
Underfloor heating can be retro fitted but it would mean reducing the height of the doorways. New build homes costs around $45 / m2 to supply and install to the mesh althougth we are advicating the european way of using insulation for better fuel efficiency and performance.
Don`t cost your house on these figures as they are only for a guide and for a specific price give me a ring.
