places to kayak

hiya can someone recommend some places you can kayak (apart from sea)

we have started on onka river, done a guided tour on garden island.

and we will try parts of the torrens, west lakes, port river etc.. but just wondering if anyone has been to some more places or if they can specify some good launch places on the ones i have mentioned.. thanks in advance

Have you been up to Garden island (Port Adelaide) ??? We had dolphins come up to us in the Kayak. Great for fishing from your Kayak too. There is also trees for sahde and a BBQ

we go to garden island every sunday its great for kayaking, if youre up for it you can actually go from there across to st kilda its 8klms but a great day out on the water

Thanks for this. We use the Onkaparinga but knowing other places is real useful
