Hi,
We are arriving very shortly and would like to know of any reccommended used car dealerships worthy of a visit. Not too sure what make/model to get either, so any reccommendations on a good, reliable motor would also be appreciated!
Thankyou![]()

Can't recommend any, as they're all sharks lol, but if at all possible don't let them know you've recently arrived, as they take the piss. Also as I've recently bought a new car, I've noticed that if you make a ridiculously low offer, they will refuse it and say no way. Tell them that when they can do it for that price you'll put a deposit straight down. They'll be off to talk with their boss and will come back with a yes. I got nearly 20% off our car (which had previously been advertised for $2000 more, as I had been eyeing it up previously) so they have a huge margin for profit. Oh and ignore all their aftermarket sales (tints, paint protection etc) its all overpriced crap.
Yep,don't expect any wonderful bargain to be offered to you,the only way you'll get that is to barter hard and give as much bullshiit back as you will get. You've also got private sales aplenty, plus Ebay,Gumtree etc.Best of Luck.

If not, anywhere you could recommend..... Nothing like "Yes "car credit (the rip off dealers of the century!).

The cheapest is about $3,000 which is 15 year old Holden Barina (Vauxhaul Corsa maybe?) territory! I reckon we'll spend about $5K and then buy newer when we can afford it...
