Hi all, just moved into our first long term rental yesterday at Christies Beach so another step out of the way but first we did our short term furnished rental at Aussielife rentals at the Seaford house. I can't thank Tyke enough and the house was just as we expected and was lovely and clean. It was a great start to our journey and a really important step in helping our move over go smooth so once again Tyke thanks the experience was fantastic.

I would just like to add a few pointers for people looking at short term accommodation and booking to help everyone have a smooth start to there new life. These are a few tips that I followed and might help people.

1 - Before booking get references/recommendations. If booking through the Internet or through a forum remember they are private businesses do look for recommendations and if through a forum look at the recommendations and arrival reports and PM people to get there views. As nice as Tyke sounded, I still asked a few people who stayed with him before booking to get feedback on the service offered.

2 - Get all paperwork and arrival details sorted before the flight over and be sure to have written down details of check in times, leave dates, and extra fees and services provided agreed beforehand.

3 - It is also worth looking for the house on google earth to see the area it's in and the houses area around it. If you can't find the house on google earth I would be worried and ask questions.
