Mawson Lakes info..?

Hi all

Does anyone have any info on Mawson Lakes at all?

I stumbled upon it while searching on a real estate website and thought it looked really nice.

Do you know what the schools are like and is it a safe area for children to play (we have two) - are there many young families living there (and many Brits??).

Any info would be great.

hi, we move to mawson lakes from the barossa in about 2weeks time. We can't wait to make the move it seems to tick all the right boxes for us. Like yourselves we have young children, there's plenty of playgrounds dotted around. The children will b starting at the mawson lakes primary school which looks v. modern we also met alan the head teacher v.down to earth. They also teach japenese to the kids as a language! 15/20 mins to the city, 12mins to semaphore beach, restaurants on site. oh yes high school, well theres endevour college which is private, no state schools on the campus but still developing for another 5yrs i believe so u never know. local gym there and pool maybe built in future. hope this info helps also website www.mawsonlakes.com.au might b of interest. maybe help u more in 2weeks time. julie
