Looking for Furnished 2 Bedroom Rental February - April 2012

We're a Canadian family of three (husband, wife and 9 year old daughter) who are looking for a furnished rental property for 3 months beginning in February 2012. My wife will be participating in a work exchange with the SA Dept for Water in Adelaide. Our needs are fairly simple; furnished 2 bedroom apartment/house which is close to transit that will get my wife to Adelaide CBD within 30 mins.

Thanks for the tip. I've looked at that site and most places appear to rented by property management companie. The ones I've contacted indicated they don't cater to short-term renters.

Look in this section of the forum http://www.pomsinadelaide.com/forum/...ion-available/ as there are a few members who list furnished rentals and some advise of their availability, otherwise the other good sites that are usually owner run are www.adelaidebound.com or http://www.adelaideshorttermrentals.com.au - these will probably work out at a more reasonable cost as there is no commission involved. The other commercial site http://www.rentahome.com.au lists a huge list of rentals. I think you should book something quickly as February/March are busy months when the Adelaide Festival and a heap of other events are being run so a lot of them will be booked with the shorter term holiday type bookings.

Thank goodness for Google Diane...I had to look up HTH......probably shouldn't have admitted to that.......I used to think LOL was "Lots of Love" too....it's a worry I know

Had an acquaintaince that thought the same, but tripped herself up when she sent out an email regarding the tragic death of a mutual friend and signed it "LOL" - made me very careful in future about where and when I use abbreviations!
