Brighton is senior school. Paringa park Primary (think that's it's full name) school is lovely. I've been there and seen it in action and met some ex pat mums who are happy with it. It is a zoned school so check if your house falls in the zone. My hubby's youngest brother went there also and went on to Brighton a couple of years ago and was/is happy with both

      Hi

I lived in North Brighton only a couple of roads away from Warradale and found it a really nice area. Paringa Primary school is a nice school which a good reputation as is Brighton High School. It is a great location for Marion Shopping Centre, the swimming pool and also the beach and Glenelg.

Arrived in Adelaide 3 August 2009, returned to UK August 2011!!

      Hi Siobhan

We live in Brighton with 4 kids.Went to have a look at Brighton Primary when we moved first. To be honest l did not like it very big school and old and no languages only sign language taught.
Paringa Park has an excellent reputation but very small catchment area!!Have heard good reports about Warradale Primary too.Sent children to Glenelg Primary and at first very happy but have had problems with bullying!!!They are all starting Christ the King in Warradale on the 30th Jan.Lovely small school only 190 pupils so fingers crossed!Warradale area l think is fab very near everything beach shops etc...We love the area, good luck with your search with schools and hope it all works out for you.

Here is the Paringa Primary website

      http://www.paringpkps.sa.edu.au/

FWIW, the zone is small, but if you are just outside it, it is still worth applying in case they have spaces.

Warradale is probably cheaper in terms of property than Brighton. Hubby and I said we'd look at Warradale when we go back over as we have family living there (and other areas of the city). We'd like to be in Glenelg but probably won't have the budget for there. Although saying that, prices are creeping up there also.

We like the area as we don't want to be too far out of the city. As lovely as some of the places further south are, its too far for us when we have family elsewhere around the city. Warradale is good as its an easy drive to Glenelg and other family, also great for Marion shopping centre (which has cinema etc also). And then not too far to get into the city or a drive to Glenelg and the tram in. That is also some some very good schools helps also.
