how long to stay in short term rental

Hi ,
My husband and I are coming over in june and am wondering how long I should book our short term accomadation for . We have 2 dogs that are coming with us so im thinking it will take us longer to find a long term rental . Our belongings are going to take about 3 months to be shipped over so im thinking prehaps we should book 2 months in the short term rental . Has anyone got any advice on this ?

Hi Caz

I would say the majority stay in short-term rentals bewtween 4 -8 weeks..... gives most to find a suburb which they like and a rental in that time.

Hi caz, we fly on the 22nd April and have our furnished rental for 5 weeks. We don't hav any pets though.

Your dogs are going to have to do 30 days quarantine so if they fly out the same time as you you'll have a month give or take to find a longer term rental which I'd think would be enough but you could always book an extra week or so if you feel you'll need it.
