      Hi Everyone

We live in the Eastern Suburbs- absolutely loving it! walking distance to "Penfolds Winery" 10 mins into city...(if traffic lights are on your side) surrounded by gum trees with our regular koala and kookabrras who seem to nest year after year!. When I wake in the morning whilst laying in bed i can see the lorikeets and rosellas popping in and out from their nest ..... best of all I have a great view of the city and sunset is spectacular...... its magical!

McLaren Vale - best of all worlds I reckon. Beach & shopping centre within 5 / 10 mins drive away, gorgeous views just out the window of the house, vineyards, cellar doors, rolling hills and coutryside nextdoor :-)

We live about 7 km from the CBD going North East. There is a cluster of suburbs here that we think are great - Collinswood, Walkerville, Broadview, Nailsworth. Unfortunately we've just decided we can't quite afford to buy here so we are looking at Mawson Lakes. We want to feel safe so ML seems to offer that too.

      Smile Brighton or Glenelg

Brighton, Glenelg, Somerton Park are beautiful seas side areas and also about 20 - 30mins from the CBD. Brighton and Glenelg both have Roads called Jetty Road that form the main cafe, resteraunt areas. Glenelg is very busy and commercial whereas Brighton is quieter and more cosmopollitan. I personally prefer Brighton, the cafes are great, the Espy Hotel is a great pub with sports bar, pokies and great food and overlooks the Jetty and beach. The beach at Brighton is beautiful

      North Adelaide

Hi, we are in North Adelaide just off O Connell st which is a pretty vibrant area approx a 20 min walk north of the city. We have only been here 5 months but love the location. We are surrounded by parks and green space, about 8 good pubs that I can think of and loads of lovely cafes and restaurants. The public transport is so good we've not bought a car yet as working in the city.
We live in a modest 2 bed townhouse, found it in the Advertiser newspaper on a Saturday, showed round by the landlord and it was ours. I think for a good family sized house this can be an expensive area, but for couples who want an apartment or two bed townhouse it's do-able.
      So far highly recommended.

Clovelly Park. Good accessibility to main roads and train lines, good shops and facilities but I dont like the area too much its far too urban for my liking

We're at Warradale which is 20 kms from CBD and close to Glenelg and Brighton beaches as well as Marion Shopping Centre. We have no need to travel any further than Jetty Road at Brighton or Jetty Road at Glenelg for restaurants, entertainment, takeaways etc, and with the Aquatic Centre just down the road pools and waterslides are a few minutes' walk, then there is Marion Shopping Centre with everything you could need, and the cinema complex and library complete our socialising needs. The nearby train takes us to the CBD in 20 minutes should we have a need to travel to the city - rarely for us.
