Just feel like I have to say something because everyone else had! I've just read your original post for the first time and I actually felt that horrid tight chest feeling that you get when you're gutted, then flicked to the last couple of pages are read that you were back in Oz... amazing! Just wanted to add that I feel for Liz, Rich & family, what a touching emotional rollercoaster, but glad that you are all where you believe that you should be :D

And as for Nottingham....well......been back twice, 2009/2010.....life is what you make it & we certainly love life here :D....but I know for sure that I would never migrate back to that city, such a waste !!

Lol! Yes we brought Trevor back with us! I think he is, officially, the best travelled dog in the world. He came originally from Kangaroo Island, came to Noarlunga, then to Woodcroft, then to England via Dubai, Sydney via Kuala Lumpur and is flying back to Adelaide tomorrow afternoon! If you're in Christies Beach on Saturday you'll find Trevor, with the Monaghan clan in tow, racing up and down the shoreline like lunatics and every single one of us will be wearing a big, happy grin. Welcome home Trev!

Just read this thread from start to finish and what an amazing story.
Happy for you that you are back and shocked as this has been the most thought out reasoning for returning that has been put across and with no bitterness just open honesty.

just wanted to say i know where you coming from. We have been in ozz for nearly 3 years and love here to, but really miss home bournemouth uk. Also we have had that phone call you dread from parents saying that one is ill (dad been told he has bowel cancer) so we are very unsettled now and want to be there for them. Can see us returning home to in the new year.Anyway good luck to you on your return to the uk. All the best wendy.
