I'm sorry that they are being so horrid to you and causing all this stress. Nothing I can say will change it but.....
\The good news is that you don't have to worry about getting yourself home if the employer terminates on a 457 they are OBLIGED to pay for you and your belongings to get back to the UK.
I had a friend who was made redundant on a 457 last year in Sydney and he DIAC told her about that particular condition of a 457 grant!

we had probs with my husbands emplyers, so we rang immigration and they investigated the employer. that would be worth a try
