Rubbish removed ??????????

Hi does any one know of who i can call to move rubbish . I just moved in to our new home and hav garage full of boxes bags n just rubbish , the council do not do rubbish collections no more . need it as cheap as poss call michelle 85577942:daydreaming::jiggy:

Hi Michelle

Call up your local council and ask about hard waste collections. Different councils have different arrangements - some do a whole area once every couple of years, some will let you book in an individual collection. If you take stuff to a dump you have to pay (council will be able to advise on this also), or you could just wait till the night before dustbin collection day and sneak round adding it to other people's bins.... (not that we do that, honest guv!)

 

Alternatively just leave it all out on the pavement in front of your house with a big sign saying "free" - you never know....

I would take all you can like cardboard to a recycling center, cheaper than taking it to the landfill

If you're patient then just make sure your regular bins are completely full each time they're collected. the cardboard is best cut into approx foot square pieces and slotted down the sides of the bins. It's surprising how much you can fit in if you do it this way. Couple of weeks and you should be good. Or pack a bootful and go find a dumpster at the back of some shops.
