Hi everyone,

I am trying to source a timber dog crate for a 25kg dog and thought there maybe somebody here that has flown their dog over and still have the crate.

If you have one and would like to sell it, please let me know.

Thanks

FWIW those crates are made to order based on the height/size of the dog not weight. Its to ensure there is enough room for the dog to stand, turn round freely and so on.

Thank you for that, Snifter, sooooo important! :notworthy: (that sounds a bit sarcastic but it really and truly isn't meant to be!)

Makes good sense too....I reckon I would be the same weight as some weight lifters lol but I'm sure as if I had a crate the dimensions would need to be very different from theirs. For example, I might need an extra-wide bottom to my crate ;)

Yeah, for example our whippet weighs 11kg and stands to my knee. My parents have a standard dachshund who weighs more than that but barely makes it past my ankle height wise and is a bit longer also.

I know when I contacted the pet shippers they were very specific about the measurements and trying to measure our wussy whippet was a nightmare :/ in the end I added an extra inch on to be safe.
