WANTED: timber dog crate.

Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to source a timber dog crate for a 25kg dog and thought there maybe somebody here that has flown their dog over and still have the crate.

FWIW those crates are made to order based on the height/size of the dog not weight. Its to ensure there is enough room for the dog to stand, turn round freely and so on.

Makes good sense too....I reckon I would be the same weight as some weight lifters lol but I'm sure as if I had a crate the dimensions would need to be very different from theirs. For example, I might need an extra-wide bottom to my crate

Yeah, for example our whippet weighs 11kg and stands to my knee. My parents have a standard dachshund who weighs more than that but barely makes it past my ankle height wise and is a bit longer also.

 

I know when I contacted the pet shippers they were very specific about the measurements and trying to measure our wussy whippet was a nightmare in the end I added an extra inch on to be safe.

We have 2 crates in the garage as our dogs have just arrived,one crate was for a 29 kg staffie cross,who stands quite tall and one crate for a 25 kg spaniel cross,if you are interested drop me a line.
