Handmade English Yew wood 8 seat extending dining set.

A truly wonderful hand made English Yew wood inlaid extending dining table with 8 chairs, 2 of which are carvers.

 

Will seat 10 persons comfortably.

 

This set was hand made by J Sydney Smith Ltd Otley,Yorkshire, UK for our family in 1995. Total cost then was 2417 UK pounds.

 

The wood positively glows and is in excellent condition.

 

Carving to chairs is equisite .

 

All chairs recently reupholstered in cream fabric.

 

The table is on 2 triple pedestal legs with brass castors.

 

2 insert leaves to fully extend, they are not faded and match exactly.

 

This will be a wonderful addition to your home for Christmas.

 

Regrettable sale due to house move.

 

Measurements:

 

Length (fully extended) 103 inches / 262 cms.

 

Width 39 inches / 100 cms.

 

The two leaves are 21 inches/ 54 cms.
