In South Road opposite The Emu there's a secondhand place called Greengrass Market that is in the process of closing down for good. They have a number of drum kits and associated items that you could maybe strike a bargain on.

Frets n Stix at Reynella do a lovely small kit for kiddies for about $130 ............ see Andy, he's the owner and is also an excellent drum tutor, having been a professional muso most of his life.

 

Alternatively consider an electronic drum kit ....... far less noisy, but needs to run through an amp. My hubby uses one when he's practising at home, and for the occasional gig, but the proper kit comes out for most gigs.

 

 

 

Hubby is a guitar teacher if anyone wants lessons. He has 15 years experience of teaching both in the UK and here. PM for details.

 

 

Also the band he is in is playing at the RSL Port Noarlunga this Sunday arvo ...... the Howling Moondogs!! ....... doing it doggie style
