They're not chrome alloys, they're chrome plastic wheel trims clipped on to steel rims.

Sorry, being a girl not quite on the ball with the whole wheel thing, so to be exact on the post the covers covering the wheel things are plastic lookin chrome coloured thingy-majigees :-) :-)
