TV desperately required

My wife and I moved here from Scotland 2 weeks ago and we love it. we moved into our first rental the other day in Wayville but because our container is still 4 weeks away we are buying cheap bits and bobs to keep us going.

 

The night time is the worst because we have no TV and no broadband and you can only repeat angry birds level 3 so many times...

 

Does anyone have a tv we can borrow for a month ? I don't want to buy one as we have 2 in the container and I have many other things to waste my money on.... like food :-)

We have been here just over two weeks and have a let with a tv but only oz tv and it isnt good, prime time at 7.30pm is home and away! I now use my laptop and pay £10 for a months connection to a vpn, dead easy to do and watch UK catch up tv via itv or bbc iplayer. Bought a mifi from local shop so phones and computers can connect to internet it was $59 and just top it up pay as you go. This also allows you to skpe or facetime family as gives you wifi in the house.

Are you sure you really want a tv?:biglaugh:Seriously though,whilst you havent got one atm,it might be a good opportunity to experience life without one for a while!Go for walks,read books,go to the pub,join some clubs!Especially now the weather is improving,enjoy that outdoor lifestyle!

When we got here we brought one from cash converters for about $20 - it wasn't pretty but it did the job
