Price of work vans

Hi there,

If you are looking for a vehicle there are a few sites that you can look on.

The equivalent of the Vauxhall will be the Holden.

Try the site www.tradingpost.com.au

It will give you some idea on prices.

A really good option would be to buy a vehicle on an auction. The government has an auction on Wednesdays. The next one is next Wednesday. You can follow the auction and bid online. The vehicles are immaculate, well maintained, with service history and balance of warranties.

The site is www.auctions.sa.gov.au You will save a fortune and may get a dual fuel vehicle as well.

Another option is to get a good family vehicle like a Ford or Holden station wagon and get a trailer. Most people use trailers over here. They are practicle and relatively inexpensive and there are thousands around!

Hope that this helps.

Tamara

:)You dont get the same style vans here, more people use utes which is like an open back pick up style and if they need extra space most tradies have trailors alot of which most are purporse made to suit your trade. Prices range the same as the uk , good luck .

you can get utes with trade box's on the back, or look at a wagon..... station wagon, or what we would call an estate car.

Prices really do vary, and you can claim cash back at the moment for buisness use on new stuff.

There's plenty around, so don't panic, diesel can be good, but only expect 1 pump at every servo, which is annoying in the company vans.

Aircon's a must

PP you have hit the nail on the head there. you cannot buy a vehicle like in the UK, its not based on age. it's down to how much the seller wants.
