Heres a link to help calculate the stamp duty you will pay on the purchase price

http://www.getapproved.com.au/car-finance/stamp-duty-calculator

Registration is about $600-700 a year, but can be taken out for 3 or 6 months

Check this one out for car insurance, its not who I'm with but have been told by quite a few it is very competitive

Hope your settling well

Can I please just have a few definitions clarified:

Car expences:

(1) Price - understand this one

(2) GST- ??

(3) Warrenty - would this be paid on a second hand car?

(4) Rego - understand and link has helped me to calculate - thanks

(5) Insurance ( if you want TFT or Comp) - understand

I ust need a little bit of clarify on GST and warrenty do they apply to a second hand car being purchased for around $5000?

Thanks
