      Baggage Insurance?

      Hope someone can help me
We are wondering how you insure your luggage for the flights over.

Normal travel insurance requires that you return to the UK, so is not valid for migration. Is there an insurance type that will cover our checked-in luggage and also the bags we are having shipped?

      Cheers :)

I got backpackers insurance when I came over, its a bit more expensive but you don't need to have a booked return flight. and you can always cancel it when you get here when you don't need it any more. travelsupermarket.com - a great deal easier was the place I got it from.

If you used a reputable shipping company, you should be insured for anything being shipped.
