HI I WONDERED IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE AND MOST DIRECT ROUTE FOR FLYING FROM GLASGOW TO ADELAIDE. HOPING TO VISIT IN EASTER 2011 BEFORE THE BIG MOVE IN AUGUST.

gla -lon -singapore - adelaide, with singapore air, or go via kuala lumpar with Malayasian air going through london again . We are going soon we hope once we sell up thats the way that we have been told with a 2 night stop over in Singapore .

glasgow to heathrow with an english airline,

heathrow to hong kong to adelaide with cathay pacific.

Heathrow to singapore to adelaide with singapore, quantas and BA

whoever you fly with, the chances are you will fly out from london heathrow

Not much difference between them done most off them look at Glesga ta Amsterdam and then on to where ever just depend who you fly with. Malaysian airlines are cheapest at most times.

You could go from Manchester too. Singapore watch your days though, because they do a stopover via Munich 2 days a week IIRC.

 

Having worked at LHR, I'd avoid it if I could.
