Anyone imported a 50cc scooter?

hi all,

 

Hope all good and well for my fellow PIA's? I see that people have imported motorbikes over before, but I wonder what the rules are for a 50cc scooter? It is worth me taking as we won't have a car and it will be useful as a run around.

 

Has anyone taken one, and are the rules different for something like this over a car or motorbike with bigger engine? i cannot seem to find any info?

years ago i owned one here, cheap to run, but my life is not cheap, theres that many blindfolded people driving here you gotta be mad to own a bike here.

Try Gerry1959 he brought his scooter over with him dont think its a 50cc
