Hi All,

We are flying out 26th October (yipeeee). What will the weather be like then and what sort of clothes will we need to see us through until our container arrives (container leaving 10th Oct).

Think unaclimatized pom who thinks 20 degrees is summer when answering this. Thanks Jane

Personally I would fetch a decent warm jacket, that is waterproof, with a hood, clothes that you would wear in autumn in the uk,Yes it may be spring over here but we have had some stormy pass few days, that are very wet and gusty, yes they do pass however you may be caught short if you just pack t shirts and shorts And we have had a few very nice days 30 degrees etc... so the sunnier clothing may come in hardy too. Just be prepared for all weather situations really.

That way then when the weather isn't so good you can still get outdoors and enjoy the wonderful surroundings that are around you to enjoy.

I was wanting to ask exactly the same question!! We arrive on the 10th Nov, shipping leaving UK on the 13th Oct so will be without everything for 4 weeks (ish). We also only have 20kg luggage each as we are flying via South Africa and their internal flights dont even give you the 23kg!! Real bugger!! Look forward to seeing what people say.

I wouldn't worry about coats. T-shirts and shorts for the day time as November is normally hot !! Just a fleece or sweatshirt for the evenings as it can cool down alot when the sun goes down.
