I've lodged a complaint but have had to email them in the uk so it may take a while to sort out!
So sorry to hear this - hope you get it sorted soon. It must be heartbreaking to have so many valued possessions damaged so badly. Thankfully the insurance will help a little.

Don't expect to be paid out on your furniture they'll offer 10% here for a scratch or 20% for a chip etc... Stand your ground. On the advice of another member I have taken our case to the Insurance Ombudsman.
Oh no, poor you guys, that's all you need!! Stand your ground though, don't let them take advantage just because you're new & vulnerable. We get ours delivered on Friday, watch this space x

please take as many photo's as you can so you have proof of the damage, I really feel for you it must be so upsetting. Hope it all works out for you good luck and keep us posted. xx
We ventured into the unknown and are ready to do it all again..
I took photos as the stuff was being unpacked and have emailed them across to the insurance company who I believe have started the ball rolling. The furniture can't be repaired without it looking like a bodge job so have sent them url's of replacement costs. Does anyone have any idea of how long an insurance claim takes? Hubby thinks it will be months!
