Mrs Tyke has been purchasing wallpaper.

 

 

Now have 6 rolls at about 8 kilos to ship back.

 

Could anyone recommend the cheapest shipping options please??

Are you flying BA or Qantas perchance? They do good deals on excess baggage these days iirc. 23kg will set you back about $100 or so. Check their websites. They have a fixed fee for a bag now.

With Singapore - don't like the look of their excess baggage charges - at first cglance they look like $40 a Kilo!!!

 

At a guess the weight will be 8 kilos.

Have ou looked at dhl? I think from memory city link were reasonable in the uk but not sure about to send here!

A rough idea is £47 thats at each roll being 1kg and the size of 6x6x30.

 

Dont know exact sizes of rolls of wallpaper.

Tyke its so simple, she wanted the paper, cut a large hole either end of HER suitcase, stack a few things either side weigh it 23kgs, great off you go, the other clothes Op Shop them..

Aye,might be the way to go.

We have a fair bit in hand luggage anyway, suppose we can chuck a little extra in the cases and see if they will be fair.

Bringing samples back as well + Mrs Tyke has been shopping

In my research I have found the best prices at excess-baggage.com and worldwide-parcelservices.co.uk As yet I have not used either of them but my shipper has said he uses/recommends excess-baggage.com for smaller items eg suitcases
