Shipping Television from UK

Hi I would like to know if it's advisable to ship my television sets to UK?

Are the UK TV sets usable with Oz networks?

Any cable networks available? What's the possible cost?

If it's only a few years old, then probably worth shipping. You may have to add a set top box to it to get all the free to air digital channels (similar to freeview in the uk) but you can pick them up from around $40.

I brought my tv over in March this year and have plugged the cable straight into the back,a bit of re-tuning and it works fine.
