help - return trip insurance

Hi

Can anyone help with arranging travel insurance for my son who has spent his planned two months with us and is going back to the UK on Sunday. The problem I am having is that the australian websites won't allow me to insure him unless he's been a resident for at least three months, and then it means they assume he is going to visit the UK, or, I try and insure him using a UK site and it assumes when I put destination in as UK that he isn't travelling outside of the UK. It seems like I should have taken care of this before we emigrated but at the point I didn't see the rush!!

Has anyone else had this trouble ? And all for two days cover:arghh:

Try go walkabout or backpackers they do one way insurance. If not try ringing them often the on-line forms can't cope with things like that but real people can.

I'd try a backpackers type insurance site. STA are usually pretty good, we always use them for travel insurance between Aus and UK.
