Hi

I am awaiting AQIS inspection of my shipped car household items next week?

Any ideas of the possible outcomes ?

What about the processing of the car?

Any ideas welcome

Can't help with the car but we had our AQIS inspection and all they picked up on was a photo album that had pressed leaves in the cardboard cover. We had the choice of fumigation and return of the album for about $200 or to have the album destroyed (we could keep the photos) for $40. You can probably guess what we choose. Apparently if they do pick up on something it won't hold the whole shipment up, they just remove the offending item and you have time to make a decision. My removal company were pretty quick off the mark in contacting us so we got it sorted straight away and the photos were delivered with our container the next day.

For the car they will look it over and if they find anything wrong with it any rust defects etc they will give you a list what is wrong and what you have to get fixed once fixed if required you will have to book it in to get inspected if all ok they will give you the paper work to take it to get registerd pay all the fees and away you go.
