I'm out almost every fine day around the Hills on my Street Triple. I tend to stick to the twisty routes through Lenswood, Basket Range, Lobethal, Norton Summit, Carey Gully, Montacute, Strathalbyn, Meadows etc. usually on my own. In the UK I was one of the founding members of what turned into a huge online biker group, and we had dozens of big parties at each other's houses, not to mention all the rallies and easter egg runs etc. but the relative lack of good long distance routes and biking events, the lower popularity of biking generally, and the more "posey" nature of a lot of the bikers I see out on the roads here in Adelaide makes social biking a more difficult prospect. Maybe that's not really true but it seems that way to me.
PS I'm always on the lookout for riding buddies.
I have just started my own riding forum 2 weeks ago, and have some friends who are very like minded with yourself and I. Feel free to have a look, and join? It nothing special, and be prepared for a lot of piss taking and humour, without anything being taken seriously on it, except the meet ups for rides etc. Great bunch of guys and gals, and like you, love the roads you mentioned. Anyway here a link to it, my sig is HAGG15, http://realriding.forumsplace.com
The roads over here are awesome, but distance is a pain because they are so straight. Forget speed, big big fines and they can hear you comming for miles!
Funny how they watch the helmets, because some of the bikes are unreal for aftermarket noisey stuff.
Bikes are expensive here compared to UK, but hey must be spotless if you import one.
I am just listenning to the guy on the gixer winding it up along lower north east road.... he's early, he usually does the run at 2am at about 140 MPH !!!!! not KPH.
Back on track. I bought a klx450r, for a bit of both really, needles to say i bailed at serverly slow speed last week at TTGMX and broke a rib LOL.
Toying with a sports tourer again but i hate long runs, so maybe harley style for those blips along the beach between lights.
Norton summit road to Lobethal is a screamer. monticute road across to the express way is excellent, get it wrong and i reckon it will be a few weeks before they find you in all those trees.
Gorge road to cudlee, left to chain of ponds, on through Barossa a little, then right and back to bird wood, then on to Tea tree, reminds me of a sharper and twistier IOM!!!!

There's a few of mine he didn't mention, but I shan't mention them on here, lest they become packed with non-forum members. If you want to know where they are I'll have to show you.
