Shipping tool boxes and tools

Hi

Can anyone give us an idea of cost to ship over.....tools and 3 large tool boxes, a couple of tv's, clothes, boxes of photos and a bike. Should only take up 1/4 of a container maximum.

Every company we have asked wants exact weight and measurements. How do we weigh large tool boxes approx 3ft x 2ft x2 ft each?

Not moving for a few months but trying to budget.

How do we weigh large tool boxes approx 3ft x 2ft x2 ft each?

Use bathroom scales. Take some tools out, weigh them, put to one side, repeat until all tools weighed, add weights together and lo!, the weight of all the tools shall be revealed. Then weigh the empty toolbox(es) spread over two sets of scales (or three if necessary) and add the shown weights together. This gives you the toolbox weight. Then add all tools plus the toolbox(es).
