Hi everyone, as anybody brought a car over for profit?

is it worth all the effort and costs involved?

have got a 3 year old range rover don't know if these are popular in Australia at the moment or are people after more economical cars like it is here now. Thinking if I can make a decent profit it would be worth it. Any info would be appreciated.

you may have to pay luxury car tax!. recall seeing it on forms but don't anything about it.... but be aware

We wanted to bring our 1yr old audi tt but it was a ridiculous amount we where quoted for luxury tax plus! Glad we didn't now & have a prado which is far more practical! !

Well depends what you want to do..... Make a profit or bring it for sentimental reasons and personal use! I brought my mini convertible (a wedding present from my husband) was it worth it financially? Thats debatable! Was it easy? Not too bad (see previous post, however i wasn't working at the time it takes a lot of time to fulfil all the legalities e.g regency park) insurance is hard to get on UK imports, only found 2 companies and things like indicators, wipers are on opposite side! So may be difficult to sell but don't quote me! Would i doit again? To make a profit.... Defiantly NOT.... For personal use and sentimentality.... Hell YES!
