I have seen a lot of great things been written about life in the southern suburbs like port noarlunga and would love to make it our home as housing is affordable too, however since I will be the main bread winner for the family, I expect to find a job close or in the CBD, I Would like to park my car at the station and travel by train to the cbd, if so what are the travel times, Google maps gives me a total travel time of just over an hour each way? is that correct?
Would a train and tram combination save more time?
If I'm driving to and fro daily, what would be the drive time? and is it practical to drive 30+ Kms each way in Adelaide, and do employers usually provide parking for employees? or should I just concentrate on finding a home close to transit points?
If I want to keep travel times under an hour, how for south could we look at?
Lots of questions I know, but would value any insight on this.
