We are off on our recci next week. I am planning on bringing our in car dvd player as we plan to drive around a lot and it will keep the kids happy.

Are there any funny laws regarding them? Will it definatly work in a hire car?

Thanks Deb

Don't know about any laws regarding them good or bad!

We have used ours for our 3yr old on the journey from Melbourne to Adelaide and almost every day since - that was until he broke! Was a godsend though - kept him amused for hours.

Guest TC for short

Tip -

Some hire cars have the cigarette lighter / power socket disabled to try to prevent people smoking in the cars. If you're going to be needing it for your DVD player check with your rental agency beforehand.
