Hi

No doubt there have been plenty of these posts already but any recommendations for car hire when we arrive (5 people + luggage). Is it better to book online or wait until we arrive at airport? Thanks.

yeah car hire is usually cheaperaway from the airport, there are quite a few that will pick you up fromthe airport.

We used Cut price car rentals on Donald Bradman Drive, just by south road really near the airport.

We hired a car for 2 weeks, took it back the day before,(couldn't get there the next day) about 3.45 due back 1pm next day, we had a whole day rental back. We also had the car cheaper because it was for 2 weeks.

We used these. Couldn't fault them and as Diane says very helpful and friendly. We took the advice of a fellow PIA member to use them and were glad we did.

Hiring from the airport will attract additional taxes, but where ever you get a car from check the insurance you are getting with the vehicle, the excess amount you will pay in the event of a claim can be alarming to say the least,
