Advice needed - Entering Oz to another state on a 475 visa???

Hi guys

 

I'm a bit worried as we've booked our flights to Australia and intend to settle in Adelaide on our 475 visa, but on the way, we're flying into Sydney to spend a week with my friend, then we're flying to Darwin to travel down the west coast and have a bit of a holiday before settling.

 

Just wondering, has anyone else done something similar on a 475 visa and will we have trouble at Sydney airport immigration as we're not going directly to Adelaide?

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

no worries...we went to Melbourne first for 10 days and then drove down

I understand that you have to report to SA migration dept within 2 weeks of arriving. Doesnt specify where you can enter the country though.
