Thanks Preet,I just checked in to my Immi account and tried all steps again. Well, I am able to fill the form beyond 25%. I think the best option to send it through Email. Keep me posted.

I have had received approval for State Nomination from South Australia for Skilled Regional (Provisional) Subclass 489 recently for my occupation Fitter (General) 323211 which is available on SOL & CSOL.

 

I have 50 point for my age, education & employment and i got 10 point from SA Nomination with Subclass 489 which enables me to lodge visa.

 

I was thinking to improve my PTE score with 65 in each to get additional 10 points from language ability which will complete my 60 points without state nomination so that i can lodge EOI for Skilled Independent 189 as my occupation is available on SOL with a cap of 8070 places and only 43 places had filled till now. In this path i can get PR. As i am to get marry after a year and will plan to lodge Partner Visa again which have one year processing time and cost around AUD 6900.

 

Now, the other way i was thinking of is that if i lodge visa for SA Skilled Provisional 489 (for which received invitation from SA), i can call my wife (future wife) after a year on Skilled Provisional 489 subsequent entrant (with 6 month processing time). And after completion of 2 year of Skilled Provisional 489 we can apply for Skilled Regional 887 (with 6 month processing time & a very cheaper way to get PR for family).

 

In my conclusion going for Skilled Provisional 489 followed by Skilled Provisional 489 Subsequent entrant (this visa is for entrance of wife) and once she will be with me we can apply Skilled Regional 887 which leads us to PR for both. This is what i feel a very cheaper way of PR (cost around AUD 520 only).

 

The basic idea is to get PR for both of us.

 

I know this is very tough question and that is the reason i posted as i need your views please give your suggestions as i have become totally neutral on this and not able to take decisions.

I know the frustration. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it. I know God is testing our patience. All i can say is stay positive and dont loose hope. One day will be our day.

I have been waiting for this day since last almost 10 years.

Came to Aus in 2006 and still waiting for this day.

Its possibility that CO may want this from you no matter whether u have been to overseas or not in that 2 years.

But yes in some cases, CO don't required it so its 50-50 at the moment.

I need suggestion from all senior expats in this forum. Recently, i got approval for Skilled Provisional-489 from SA. I am scoring 60 points including 10 points for State Nomination. My occupation is on both SOL & CSOL with 8070 places which filled only 43 till now. I am confuse over these two choices as mentioned below.. please advice me :

 

1. I am thinking to come in SA on Skilled Provisional 489 now and as after one year i am expecting to get married and i will call my wife on Skilled-489 Subsequent entry after getting married. And after completing two year of stay & employment criteria (min one year full time employment), i will file Skilled Regional 887 PR for both of us which leads us to Permanent Residency.

 

2. Or now i revised my English test ability with 7 bands in each in IELTS. By revising IELTS i will able to score 60 points independently and i will get eligible to apply for Skilled Independent 189 PR. As i mentioned i am expecting to get married after a year, in case of 189 visa i have to go for Partner Visa 309/100 which i believe takes processing time of around 2 years to get PR for Partner.

 

Which option do you suggest?

Either go for 489 now and followed by 489 Subsequent Entry & finally Skilled Regional 887.

OR

To go for Skilled Independent 189 and followed by Partner Visa 309/100.

Please reply me on this i have to take decision i need your experiences on Skilled Regional 887 & Partner Visa 309/100.

As u mentioned your occupation Fitter (General) 323211. Please do research on job market and decide. Skilled Provisional 489 Subsequent entrant even for this you need to pay around AUD 3600 . check immi web page.
