New landlords

Looks like we will be renting our house out in Seaford Rise as the market is so slow. We have bought a house in Blackwood. Was wondering if any of you more experienced landlords could recommend a good accountant? We've had a look at OCBA website, can anyone offer us anymore pointers?

Make sure if you are going to manage it yourself that you provide detailed inspection sheets to your tenants and also plenty of close up photos to avoid any discrepancies.

Also make sure you do a complete reference check to avoid any bad tenants.

Thanks Sharon, we've already found tenants who we happen to be friends with so that should negate some of the issues you describe.
