3 bed long term rental semaphore park area needed for January 2016

Hi,

Scottish family moving to Adelaide January 2016. Looking for 3 bed long term rental in Semaphore Park area as jobs lined up on the peninsula. In process of selling up property in UK now, may need to consider rental that allows 2 small house cats if wife decides they are coming!! Furnished/part furnished may be preferable initially until stuff arrives. Any advice suggestions welcome re breaking leases or how best to go about this as total newbies!! Visited in March and love it, fantastic city, feel very lucky to be moving there, can't wait but nervous about the usual things.

Furnished are not common at all. Sometimes you'll get a dishwasher, depending on your budget. Sometimes fitted wardrobes, but not much more.

Personally I'd get a short term furnished rental for at least a couple of weeks, probably closer to a month, so you can find a long term rental. Pictures often do not show the true state of a house.

I agree blossom, some of the houses we went to see, had advertisement photos from 6 years ago ! Short term furnished then look for a longer term.

I know. It's crazy. Some of them actually look better than in the pics on the website as they have changed things. Not often that way round though.
