After we ladies got together a few weeks ago, we've finally settled on a book!

So, if anyone else is interested in reading the book and joining us at our next meet up, we are reading The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas. We've not set a date to meet up yet as some of us don't yet have a copy of the book yet so no pressure on getting hold of a copy and reading it in 2 or 3 weeks or anything :cute:

Here is a bit of info on the book.

You can borrow this book from a long list of local libraries (I just checked and its on the shelf in many and tells me there are 61 available copies of the book) and if its not on the shelf of your local one, you can order a copy in and they'll let you know when it arrives

Just giving this a bump as we'll be organising another book club in the not too distant future.

If anyone is interested in joining us for an evening of chat, laughs and perhaps discussing a book :cute: let us know. We'd be very happy to see you.

Last time we really didn't spend much time on the book club side of things (we may well turn out to be a bit of a rubbish book club in that sense of things  ) but we certainly did cover some topics and we enjoyed our night.
