Mortgage Broker

Can anyone recommend a good mortgage broker? It seems Vista Financial no longer have one so I don't know where else to turn. I don't mind where particularly as the recommendation is more important than location, but we live near Brighton/Hallet Cove so anywhere in that sort of area would be ideal.

Really? I only got an email from them on Friday and they still had mortgages as one of their services. The websit still has mortgages on it as well. I wonder if it's a sudden change and they haven't had time to update things yet.

Andrew replied to my pm today with "Unfortunately we have no Broker from the end of this week (I deal solely with UK Pension Transfers/Financial Planning now) so will not be able to assist", that's all I know.

That's a shame as they have been great for us. Hopefully someone can recommend an alternative broker. I'm pretty sure other brokers have been mentioned on here before.

We were in Glenelg living when we bought in the Hills but opted to use one down Aldinga way as she came highly recommended. We only had to pop down twice to her so travel time and stuff wasn't really an issue but if we had had to go more often it would have been a pain. Still, she was very good so all worth it in the end.

I have used Katie Costa from Rise High Financial on numerous occasions. I can highly recommended her and she goes out of her way, coming to your house after hours of it suits. She will bring all paperwork to you for signing (our previous broker made us go to the bank in the city!)

Then she will keep on top of your loans and negotiate a lower rate if they are no longer competitive.
