Its on! The team presentation was Saturday evening, crit race in the city last night. First day of racing is tomorrow, Tuesday.

Its well worth it if you are able to get out and be near the start or finish on a stage, or even somewhere in between to watch them whizz through. We often nip up the hill to see them in places like Meadows or going over the top into Cherry Gardens if they have a route round that way. Son gets to hit the play park in Meadows after for an hour with lots of other kids, we grab a pie and relax. Glenelg and Unley are usually both good places to see the teams up close before a stage starts and to get some photos with them and stuff. Victor Harbor finish can be good as a day out, take a packed lunch, visit the park and beach or some such and see the finish and presentation.

There are men's and women's races this year and you can read more about it all here

Also lots of family friendly events on and the TDU village in Victoria Square has plenty going on and things to see/do.

My son's favourite part is to collect the cyclists water bottles and to meet them before or after a stage and have them sign his cycling cap. He's got quite a collection going on now :cute:Excuse sideways pics, for some reason it uploads and displays sideways but I did take it upright. Oddness
