Socialising

Hi my family and I moved to Adelaide 9 weeks ago we are settling in nicely I have an almost 20 year old daughter who would love to get together with people similar age. So if anyone's out there is interested would love you to get in touch! Just trying to make life easier for my daughter as she has left so many friends back in England which I no she misses so much.

It can be really hard at that age to make the move.

I wish I could help but I don't know anyone that age alas.

Is she planning on studying here? She would be sure to meet people if at TAFE or uni here. Also sports clubs can be good places to meet others. Might take a bit of time and effort but given the age group they are usually pretty welcoming and hopefully she could meet some people with some common interests.

Or a casual job where people her own age work might be good.

Kacie who used to organise meet ups and stuff for the younger age group moved up to Darwin a while back iirc and isn't around in Adelaide anymore alas.
