Hi guys,

is there anybody out there as fed up as we are about the whole emigrating lark?

Trying to sell your house, getting insulting offers etc.

So we were thinking about having a get together somewhere in the Leeds area,

all welcome whether you have your visa or just starting the process.

We went to a meet last year, and you can pick up vital bits of info, plus make contacts,

we met up with a couple we met later that year in Adelaide.

It's good to talk.

Good on ya. It's frustrating I know but worth it when you get out here. You are absolutely right, the more contacts you have the better.

Good luck with it all.

We arrived in Adelaide Sept 09, from Leeds, so it would be good to have some fellow Leeds folk onboard. There is a few of us out here already. All the best with the move, hopefully like us it will be a successfull one.

Darren & Fiona.

We are originally from up North - Ripon near Harrogate but Hubby is working down here in Exeter at the mo. Once we get our Visa it's all systems go for us. We decided not to sell our house as the rental market is strong and it will give us an income. We will be going up to see family later on so if possible would love to meet up so keep us posted.

Ia m sure everything will fall into place for you,

Hi

We are interested in a get together in Leeds. We are from Manchester and am unable to go to the meet this weekend. We had our visa granted in May 2008 and validated it in December. We have got to the stage should we go or not. It would be nice to talk to people in a similar position.

Good luck with your house sale.

I know it's short notice but can you meet on the 9th of aug, as we are away the three weeks after that. Other wise will have to wait till late sept.

We're happy to meet somewhere in the middle, possibly Halifax, If that suits you send us a pm and we'll make arrangements.

Speak soon.
