Finally arrived in Oz!!

Hi Guys

 

 

Well after nearly 2 years of planning and researching we finally arrived yesterday ontime and in not too bad nick considering the journey. A380 was fab, had to be the smoothest plane ride ever and so quiet. Saw our first Kangaroos on the way down from the airport so kids made up with that.

 

Had problems initially getting on our feet but now up and running with a hire car. Got it for 5 days for just $135, incredible! Mind you is an old 3 door corsa but cheap as chips and will do for now while we sort out bits and bobs out.

 

First impressions good although we had some hoons racing cars outside our rental in Aldinga Beach last night but other than that it has been the only down side. Got phones and internet up and running from Crazy Johns but forgot to get OH's phone chipped before we came out.

 

Thanks to everyone that responded to our window fitters post before we came out and to everyone who offered to meet up for drinks, we will certainly be taking you all up on the offers and will be in touch over the next few days.

Hi We arrived here 6 weeks ago, it takes a few weeks to sort eveything out especially with 2 kiddies in tow ( we have an 11yr old and an 8 yr old too!) Anyway sure you will love it and hoping spring is on its way sooner rather than later. If you want to meet up any time just let us know.
